With all due respect to artists and Presonus, I am finding myself spending a lot of time trying to find the right Presence XT Synth sound and not finding much diversity or the ability to overall manipulate the sound I settle on. I know this is the creative endeavor, but my point is I hear contemporary songs and I am not finding these sort of sounds in Presence XT, so it seems I need to create them. Furthermore it seems like "SoundFont" is widely referenced as a way to convert "old" sounds to a new format. So it may be indelibly stamped onto Presence XT, as a "SoundFont Engine" if they sounds are just old system soundfont files. I don't know. But I am curious for other users who feel they are getting or creating contemporary synth sounds and Pads in SI to chime in with their methods because I am stuck on this aspect.
