Question

This might be answered somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Is it possible to assign Pro Tools keyboard commands to any of the function and or User buttons on the Faderport 16? For example if I wanted F1 to be Command+K to turn Preroll on and off.

in ProTools just touching a fader is like holding the Command button on a mac keyboard.. as far as modifying a parameter you can use the midi learn feature to do that..

You may wanna reach out to Avid to gain a better understanding of the way they implement HUI and any Mapping options that they offer.
