My Faderport 8 consistently stops behaving properly, usually the faders stop responding whenever there's an update for firmware update available which is obnoxious but fine. This time though, my FP8 has just completely stopped responding in Pro Tools 2019.6 running OS X mojave.
The faders snap to attention when I open my Pro Tools session, but nothing works. Faders, transport, mute/solo etc. Nothing works at all. I have restarted my computer, restarted Universal control, re-installed the firmware, power cycled the unit, replugged the USB. Nothing. Works. I'm so unbelievably tired of this product behaving so poorly on a consistent basis.
HELP.
