Question

I can’t get the CS18AI to reboot. It turn on and on a few meters turn on and stays still, completely frozen.

I don't think you need a reboot for excecuting a firmware upgrade/renewal. As a former CS18AI owner I remember that there is a good description for the procedure, which is available in your PreSonus account. Otherwise I think there is no user "trick" to wake up a CS18AI.

Try the firmware update with fresh loaded files. If that doesn't work, open a service ticket. You can also ask your question in the closed Facebook group "Presonus StudioLive Mixer Users" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/236075319847351). I have seen some active CS18AI users there.

I had a look at the Owners Manual and in section 2.2. it says:

"13. Continue to hold the Home button until only the Channel 1 Meter is illuminated. This is your indication that the firmware update has begun. 14. The Meters will continue to illuminate updating the progress of the firmware update. When all 22 meters are fully lit, the update is complete. Note: This process can take up to 10 minutes. Do not power off your CS18AI until all 22 meters are illuminated."

Try the firmware update again. It may bring your CS18AI back to life.
