Question

We use Studio Live 32iii...with all musicians using QMix-UC for in-ear monitoring.

We can adjust a personal mix from the board, but when trying to personally adjust from iPhone, it doesn’t do anything!

Also, when our drummer adjusts his mix (QMix-UC) the volumes on his drum mics (in the FOH main mix) skyrocket to full volume...?

I hope this makes sense!  This is very frustrating to say the least...please help.

1) Check if all QMix are on the SAME version; your mixer should also use the latest firmware version.

2) Check permissions in UC Surface or in the mixer (touchscreen).

3) Check that all auxes are set to Pre 1 or Pre 2 and NOT Post(fade).

If you or somebody of the band has a tablet, get UC Surface for it to have an overall control. This is often easier to use than smartphones. It's also interesting and helpful to SEE what everybody hears... ;-)
