When using effects with long tails, such as delay and reverb, when stopping the playback and restarting, the effects tails can still be heard. On tracks with very long decays, such as a delay with a high feedback setting or reverb with near infinite decay, this makes editing and mixing difficult. It would be useful to have a switch which allows for effects tails to be cut as soon as playback is stopped or, better still, when playback restarts (or either option!). Temporarily turning the plugin on and off has no affect as the tails continue playing as soon as the effect is reactivated.
