The studio one console and track list offer a filter feature that allows users to show or hide tracks and channels based on their type, name. However, this filter does not affect the instrument rack, which shows all the instruments in the song regardless of their visibility in the console. This can make it hard to find and manage the instruments that are relevant to the current view or workflow. An option to filter the instrument rack based on the track list and console filter states would make it easier to access and control the instruments that are shown in the console.

Benefits:

• An option to filter the instrument rack based on the track and console filter states would improve the consistency and usability of the studio one interface.

• An option to filter the instrument rack based on the track and console filter states would reduce the clutter and confusion in the instrument rack by hiding the instruments that are not needed or visible in the console.

• An option to filter the instrument rack based on the track and console filter states would allow users to focus on the instruments that are relevant to their current view or task.

Possible implementation:

• An option to filter the instrument rack based on the track and console filter states could be added by extending the function to "Link visibility of Track List, Console and Instruments"

• When checked, the option would update the instrument rack display to show only the instruments that correspond to the tracks and channels that are shown in the track list and console according to the filter settings.

• When unchecked, the option would restore the instrument rack display to show all the instruments in the song regardless of their visibility in the console.
