FX Returns routed to Aux behave as pre-fader even though Aux is set to post-fader

I have Aux 1 configured as post-fader.  So when I adjust a normal channel's fader in the main mix, it also adjusts the volume of that channel in Aux 1, as you would expect.  But when I adjust an FX return's fader, it does not affect the level of the FX in Aux 1.  Why is this, and how can I fix it?

All 16 auxes have their own FX A-D  returns. The level of FX in the returns is controlled by the faders of Main mix, according to the level set in FX send.

Fader Main level -> fader FX -> fader FX master send -> fader FX return to Aux

What are you intending to do with "Aux1"?

I am the audio guy at a church.  Aux 1 is a livestream mix that gets sent over to a computer for livestreaming.  We have two of the four FX slots on the Studiolive being used for vocal mics: a reverb and a delay.  I want to set up one fader to quickly pull down the FX levels when the worship leader starts speaking instead of singing.  I thought I had this set up when I assigned both vocal FX returns to a DCA group, but then I noticed that using this DCA only took the FX out of the main mix, it did not affect the livestream mix.

Yes, this is a special detail for DCA groups. They do include all flex mix inputs, but no FX returns...

There are two ways to mute FX returns. First you have to select "Global Mute Link" (touchscreen -> Home -> System -> Link Aux Mutes -> Global Mute Link), then you can either "globally" mute all FX returns via Main level or you use four channels on User level: Select FX A return for channel 1, FX B to 2, FX C to 3, FX D to 4. Now you can  mute FX returns "globally" with the first four Mute buttons of User layer.
