Latest version, *** update? Whats with the high CPU usage?

So, made the mistake of updating... the cpu usage when using automation makes the GUI unuseable, I have a GTX 1070, 32gb ram, m.2 drives and an i7 8700k processor and my machine freezes using 3 lanes of automation.
