Hi,

I had a preexisting song in Studio One, with tempo set to 140.

I created a MIDI file in Pianoteq, and dragged and dropped it into an empty track in Studio One.

The timing was wrong.  In order to hear that track at the correct time I had to change the studio one's song tempo to 120.  Why was that?

How can I drop a MIDI file into a track and control its tempo individually, so it matches the other tracks?

Simply type in the known tempo once the midi track has been added ! If the midi track did not contain the information.
