I have been enjoying learning to use the CTC console.  However, I have had turning it on cut all the audio (no output shown on main mix channel) at least on a dozen occasions.  There is no way to recover the audio (I have tried restarting) if I had not saved a previous version.

Hello, do you mean that you want to recover your audios but didn't find the way?

I think you can try the Bitwar Data Recovery, it can recover many different file types, including audio, video, documents, etc. Maybe you can also have a try, hope can help you anyway.

First of all, you can retrieve a previous saving of an audio file. You need to do the Dataset... search, make sure you are showing all version so you can pick on of the older ones. Show all versions is controlled in Edit- Options - Search -General - uncheck Latest Dataset Versions.

If you can't find the file you wanted, you can make use of professional data recovery software. I've used iBoysoft Data Recovery free trial and it get all my lost audio files back.

Good luck!
