Microphones cut out randomly during live performance or spoken word

Our church currently uses the Presonus Studio Live 32.4.2 Digital Mixer for our worship services.  Just recently we have experienced microphones cutting out during the service. It first was noticed on our Pastor's Shure Wireless Lav Mic.  She would be speaking then for about 2-4 seconds no sound.  The meters indicating level went to zero at this time.  I would move the MAIN level and the sound would come back.

Today, it also happened on one of the singer's mics.  She was singing a song and suddenly, the same thing happened.  I checked the settings.  We did NOT have GATES on these mics.  We did have compression settings.  Same as they have been for months.

Any ideas of where I need to look for the answer.  Thanks

You are talking about the SL 32.4.2AI mixer, not a Series III mixer? This is the section for Series III mixers. Moving the Main fader and bringing back sound indicates a problem with the fader and/or output section, which would need a repair. There could be more outputs having a problem, the output curcuit board of the AI mixers deals with 7 or 8 faders.
