I’ve looked everywhere I can think to look and I’ve found bits and pieces of information here and there but not a complete process.

How can I create a stereo monitor mix using UC Surface and StudioLive 24r? I’m using a ********* HA8000 for headphone mixes and I’m only getting audio in the left side of the headphones unless I click mono on the headphone amp. I‘ve seen “link Aux 1 and 2 and manually pan them” but what cables do I need to accomplish that? Is that going to solve my problem?

I’ve tried everything I can think of and still getting the same result.

The headphone amp you are using allows to to feed two separate stereo inputs (1+2). All you need is either two of this

or two of this

kind of cable, depending on which physical output of the 24R you are connecting.

"Manually panning" is for linked INPUT channels only, like keyboard left/right. In a linked aux this stereo channel is by default NOT PANNED. You have to move the cursor to the left or right to "widen" the stereo image of the linked inputs.

Hope this helps.
