Question

Custom built computer running Windows 7 Professional. Intel Core i7-3770k CPU @ 3.50GHz. 64-bit OS with 32 Gigs of RAM.

My entire song suddenly had every track go from C to somewhere in between Db and D. Tempo did not change. Whole mix sounded like it had just inhaled helium.

We have NO IDEA why this has happened to us. Any and all suggestions gratefully received.

More often then not this happens when the sample rate is changed from, say 44.1 to 48khz and visa versa.

The pitch will change when this happens.

this happens to me, i just close out of studio one all together and when i restart, the pitch goes back to normal in the project, or song I was working on
