Studio one 3 latest version.

Focusrite 18i20 latest driver

Cannot adjust interface settings (monitor mixes, headphone mixes, etc.) when studio one 3 is running in playback or record mode.

Daw will stop playing or recording and return to start.

Even with 2 monitors, interface on 1 monitor and daw on 2nd monitor, the daw still stops when I click on the interface.

Within Studio One 3.  Click the Studio One menu at the top.  Click Options.  This brings up the Options Window.  Of the 5 categories at the top, click Advanced.  Then click the Audio page tab.  

Uncheck the box for "Release Audio Device In Background".

You should now be able to click and switch from program to program, window to window, monitor to monitor and Studio One 3 should continue to record and or playback audio.
