I have a fire studio that I know is discontinued, but it works well and I still use it. I have upgraded from Yosemite to High Sierra, and can't get UC control to work. It has been a while since I configured it.
Anyway I was able to download v = latest = 1.78? and it load only my OS without the security problems and work arounds that the article

I remember there also being a mixer. Anyway, still now fire studio and can't see it in preferences for sound. Don't see it under audio devices and even unplugged the FW 800 to see if things would take.
Any thoughts? A step by step way to do this?
