If you create a loop in a template and then make a new song off that template with a different tempo, that loop keeps its absolute position in minutes and seconds even if you change the tempo of the new song and have "Bars" selected as a time base in the new song. So if a template is created with a four bar loop after a few bars and then you make a song at a different tempo, the loop position will not be musically consistent even though you selected "Bars" as a timebase.

Please have the loop dynamically adjusted from the template position to a musical equivalent when Bars is used.

Do any other template users find this unhelpful? I tried to create a template or two that had the loop-range pre-set for a certain kind of sound design creation and if I change the tempo before creating the song it's always off.

I was told this was how the feature is supposed to work but I can see no practical purpose. I'd love if an Answers moderator could log this.
