We are running a UC surface and StudioLive III 24R setup as our only Live Mixer. We are soon getting the capability to run in-ears and would like to use talk back for those in-ears.

How do we assign an analog input to the TB?

The rack mixers have no physical talkback input, so you have to use a normal microphone input. Nevertheless, the Talkback input would work as network input, if the second mixer in the network would be a Series III console with the dedicated talkback input.

Using a microphone with on/off switch makes sense for the task.
