Question

Pretty simple. I would like to be able to click a tap tempo button to set the tempo of a new song/session when the dialog firsts appears for all the song's settings such as sample rate/bit depth etc.

Edit: I know that the tap tempo works in the arrange window after creating a new song session but this feature suggestion is for having tap tempo in the create a new song options window BEFORE you create a new song.

Hi Michael.

Tap tempo only seems to be available via the Atom pad.  That's the only way I know to do it inside studio one.  It requires a gadget.  

However, there are many free metronome apps that have a tap tempo function available.  You could grab one of those from an app store, tap your tempo there and transfer the number across.

Hi.  Sorry to bump this so late.  In the arrange window, mouse over the tempo and tap your mouse in time to your groove.   This is how to do it inside s1 without hardware.
