Question

It would be great, if the Browser had a similar feature as Ableton does  - to create Favorites categories (color coded), and to mark files and folders as favorites of a particular category.

I totally agree! The browser needs some work. It is also very annoying that it doesn't stay in "auto play". You constantly have to double-click on the files. It would also be great if the [space bar] would be "play" ... that is the standard in other daws and it is a much needed feature for a smooth workflow!
