Question

Might be a stupid question but was wondering if one could use some usb transmit and receive device with faderport so as to have faderport in the studio and the computer/interface in the control room. Essentially un-tethering the usb cord etc.

Thanks for the great question, (not stupid ;-) ) We have not tested / approved any such devices, you can try and let us know.

Good USB extenders are generally expensive (>$100), I'd be skeptical of anything that does not require power to be injected to boost the signal.

If you're using Studio One, consider using Studio One Remote on iPad or Android as an alternative.
