I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with two thunderbolt ports, an audio-technical AT2020 microphone, and an AudioBox 44VSL audio interface. Is it possible to record a Skype call and send my microphone to one track and the Skype guest's audio to a separate track in Studio One 3?

I have read the article at but that seems to indicate setting up on a Mac for someone who does not have a separate audio interface and is trying to accomplish this entirely with software and a USB mic directly plugged into the computer.

Skype already has the ability to record calls -

If you want to record Skype calls with the AudioBox 44VSL you'll need to loop the audio out of Skype back into the same input that the AudioBox 44VSL is driving. This requires 3rd party software such as or

Alternatively if you have access to another interface with SPDIF In / Out and route the SPDIF out back to SPDIF inwith a coax cable and then use the "SPDIF mirrors Mains"

Either way you'll need to do a little experimenting to get it to work.
