Question

When I set up a loop to record multiple tracks (5 for drums), after the first pass, the playback stutters. And when I stop the recording during the 2nd take, the first take is aborted in length to only the point at which I stopped the 2nd take (running Mac 10.14.6 and Studio One 3.5.6). I can manually record multiple takes to layers but can no longer do so with the loop engaged. What used to be a one person job is know a two person job. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? This has not been a problem in the past.

I remember there were some bugs with loop recording in 3.5.6 in various situations. Can you try demoing the current version of 4 to see if it fixes that particular issue? Make sure to test with the specific song file in question as that could play a role too.
