Question

Just upgraded from a SL-III 32 to a 64S.

The gain staging and house output level was perfect for our venue. Our SL-III 32 had an adjustable main master output level on the back of the mixer that was set to about -15db with the main faded at unity.   However the 64S does not have such an output level adjustment.  

Would it be ok to simply lower the master fader from unity or better to leave it at unity and lower the amp output?

I would adjust the amps. Use the faders for real time adjustments.
