Four features that I must have in the next Studio One v5.

1. Cross fades that are independent of each other. I’m tired of trying to tweak one side of the cross-fade, only to have the other side do the same.
2. Ripple or Slip mode edit that works for more than just the simple range delete command.  A ripple edit that works in both directions. I work mostly in classical music.  Edits are always being fine-tuned while zoomed in to a microscopic view.  I need to know that everything else down the timeline is slipping along without their following edits coming apart. I know I can Merge Events or select all in Loop range, but that is a helluva lot of unnecessary keystrokes compared to other DAW software.
3. A simple command to Select All before for after the cursor. My original Studer Dyaxis did this back in 1994! Harrison Mixbus 5 (based on the Ardour program) does this now.
4. A Help Menu that actually helps.  Every action that is in the Toolbar or contextual pulldowns should have a direct entry in the Help document. I shouldn’t have to search the internet for yet another Joe Gilder youtube video.  Thank god for Joe.  I sincerely appreciate his helpful videos.

I have been using Studio One since version 1.  Unfortunately, I feel Presonus is failing to take the software to a level of sophistication and professional features that I have been waiting for through all subsequent versions. It will be a deal breaker for me if these four features aren’t provided in version 5.  Very sadly, I will say goodbye to Studio One and migrate to some other program. There is so much I really love about Studio One but I'm afraid I may have to move on.
