Question

I'm running Version 4 in windows 7. Some snares sound different after dragging into Impact XT. Shorter, less trail, dry, slightly different pitch. (No effect inserts on Channel, no alterations.)

Is there a solution to this?

yep, just discovered this, completely different. Awful.  Also the lack of auditioning replace samples is a serious flow breaker, makes using Impact as a proper drum sample machine impossible.
