Question

How do I stop an instrument's sound at the end of a measure? For example, I currently have a violin which sounds fine, but as I play the song, the prior notes seem to "stick" beyond their length and it ends up muddying the sound in subsequent measures. Thanks for any pointers. Much appreciated.

Assuming you are using MIDI for your violin sound, edit your MIDI data and make sure the note length is stopping before the next measure starts. There are tools to help you do that but first check to see if this is your issue.
