[Macbook Yosemite | Audiobox 44VSL] Why does my interface quit and stop producing sound after a small amount of use?

Hi.

I switched interfaces a few months back and began using an Audiobox 44VSL.  I like it fine, except there seems to be some sort of communication problem between the interface and the output on my laptop or something.  It will work just fine for a while and then the sound will stop as if something was turned off or unplugged, but neither of those are the case.  It's went for long periods without any issue and sometimes it will consistently "stop working" every 5-10 minutes or so.  I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing or if this is a common issue.

Hello Matt.  I would suggest submitting a support ticket within your PreSonus account.

The tech reps will most likely request some system files to check out your computer and let you know if there are any troubleshooting items you can try.
