Hello,

I've recently built a studio with the following setup: PC with Windows 10, Audient ID4 audio interface, Presonus Eris E5 monitors and Ableton Live 10.

I've installed all the drivers and connected all the cables as instructed, the only problem is that no sound comes out of the Eris E5 monitors. There is no sound when I play Youtube videos or MP3s on my PC, they just play without sound. I haven't yet started using the DAW and cannot do this until the monitor issue is sorted.

On my PC 'Audient ID4 Speakers' is selected as the default playback device and the Eris E5 TRS 1/4" cables are plugged into the back of the interface. When I put my ear close to the speakers there is a faint hissing sound coming out of them. I have downloaded and a using the most up to date driver for ID4.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you have your drivers and cables setup correctly, you should have sound.

Do you have sound using headphones thru you audio device?

Can you contact Audient support about this?

You might have an issue with your Window's audio setup too.
