The Presonus AudioBox 96 Studio pack comes also with Headphones HD7 and microphone M7.

I do look to buy Presonus Studio 24C device and wanted to know if I may have it as a pack with M7 microphone.

Or I may buy M7 separately. I cant find it as a single item, only in a pack with AudioBox 96.

If not possible, then I would like if somebody may tell me which is best technically to use to record a vocal from the

following mics with Presonus Studio 24C (considering it spec for mic input):

MXL 770, MXL 990, MXL V67G, Se electronics X1a, FlyRay BM-800.

Thank you for help, I'm a bit new in vocal stuff as I'm a synth composer.

Alex.

Hi, I use the MXL 770 for vocals, its it's a pretty robust mic.  Even if the shock mount included is not so great.  I have had mine for years, use it on amps, voices, acoustic instruments. (I have had to replace the shock mount). As for a decent all rounder then you can do no harm buying an SM57 or SM58.  Yes, they are dynamic mics but they have been used for years for anything you can think of.  An Sm57 or 58 will cost around $100.  It's pretty much used by everyone.  If I had to say "buy this one mic" then an SM58 will get most jobs done.  By the way, the difference an SM57 and an SM58 is the detachable pop shield head on the 58.  Buy an Sm58 and be done with buying mics for a while.  The mxl770 cost me about £100 or so.  As for Presonus mics, I see a Presonus large diaphragm condenser mic on Reverb earlier for about £100 or so.  So, yeah, check reverb too.   Oh and a ********* C4 condenser is not that expensive either. I hope that helps you out some.
