Can I use my SM57 and Presonus AudioBox 22VSL for gaming?

Os: Windows 10 Pro.

The SM57 is connected with XLR-XLR  To AudioBox, I use Sennheiser HD280 pro headset..

I get a very low volume when I test the SM57 in Windows.

And in games nobody can hear me, even when I talk at 5 cm from the mic.

I use this mic to mic my Marshall Cab, and it works correctly for that.

Do I need a Mic booster ?

Or should I jut buy a dedicated USB headset with condenser mic ?

I need the same answer but with a pretty old Audiobox USB.. My Windows doesn't seems to be receiving mic signal.. but It does inside de DAW.. so I can't be heard inside games.. even when I set the audiobox as default.. so weird
