Issues with audiobox 22VSL - windows 10

I am having an intermittent issue with my Audiobox 22VSL, the audio literally just cuts out and vanishes (mic and sound) until I go into the universal sound app and force update the firmware, as soon as I do this the sound is restored and the process repeats - it usually works for another few hours then cuts out again. I've done 3 clean installs of the audiobox, I have run it as admin, I'm so completely at a loss here.. if anyone has this issue or knows how to fix it please let me know.

Ensure that your computer is fully up to date with all current Windows Updates.

Go to your computer's vendor website and search your model computer.  Install available updates.  BIOS, USB, chipset, etc...

Disable AntiVirus and or Spyware programs.

You might also Uninstall/Reinstall the Universal Control.

Connect your AudioBox to a different USB connection on your computer.

Restart and test the issue again.
