Question

Hi,
Several times I have plugged different acoustic guitars into my audiobox USB to record in studio one and the signal is invariably too low to work with unless I boost the gain on the interface to where I can hear buzzing and white noise. This is very frustrating. Is the problem with the guitar I'm using? Any tips or tricks to work around this issue? Thanks

Hmmm - I would ensure that the guitar you are using has a fresh battery, and of course, ensure that the volume on the guitar is turned up all the way.

I'd also try recording the acoustic guitar with a microphone (close miked 12 - 18") that you know is good.  If that works well, then the problem may be the guitar electronics.
