Studio One’s GUI is aesthetically pleasing to my eye but the typeface and formatting are quite bothersome to me. It is too heavy in some places, too dull in others, too big here, too small there, not enough space between words and letters. To my eye the typography is not clean, crisp, and consistent. The bold text draws the eye but not in a good way, it is distracting. As a veteran graphic designer myself, the text feels forced - too much content in a limited space - a challenge we all struggle with trying to balance aesthetics/function/efficiency. However, better use can be made of the available space to improve the overall look and feel in my opinion.
