Hello Fellow Sound and Music Lovers,

Love to get your thoughts on this.

Had some time to try to get the sound better at my church.  Our sanctuary is about 50' X 50' with 45' ceiling.

QUESTION:  How do you manage the cross over frequencies of the subs and mains?  Do you use the mixer to hard cut the mains at say 120Hz?  Do you hard cut the subs above 120Hz?

Love to hear what works for you.

100% depends on the speakers being used, the venue and what your desired outcome is. Most speakers either have the HPF set on them or have x/over hardware that allows this to be set. You can use the mixer to do subs on AUX etc but again, hard to tell you what to set it to without know more or being there.
