At seemingly random times when working on a song the software will crash and restart the computer showing this message:

The only consistent variables I can narrow it down to are that it seems to happen when I am adjusting a parameter on a plugin. This has happened with multiple different plugins, including native Presonus ones.

The other suspicion is using my Akai MPK249. I have worked for many hours on a mixing session only having my Faderport 8 on with no issue. I started having this issue after working on a beat-making project and using the two in tandem.

Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina 2014

MacOS Catalina 10.15.5

Studio One 4.6.2

Audiobox USB - Universal Control version 3.2.1.57677 (though I do not have the universal control app open when using S1)

Faderport 8 Firmware v3.43

Akai MPK249 Firmware v1.00 (there doesn't appear to be any firmware updates from Akai)

I run a MacBook Pro also.  I had an Akai keyboard (MPC49) which created multiple problems for me in both Studio One and Logic.  I got rid of it and all is well.  Make sure to go through the entire Mac and delete all Akai files from the System files and Library files as well as the Applications folder!!  I'm a guitarist so I replaced it with a Nektar Impact LX25 (cheap) and it works fine for my meager needs. I would suggest running Mojave 10.14.6 also as it is THE smoothest Mac experience ever!!  I also run a Faderport 8.  You can always reinstall the Akai software if this makes no difference for you.  Good luck.  --  Michael.

Sorry - I meant to say I had a Advance 49 keyboard controller from Akai.
