Question

I have the AI 16 board and everything is up to date. My drummer has electronic drums, Shure in-Ear monitor and I can't seem to give him enough volume in his monitor mix to hear his drums without it distorting. Any recommendations?

Pre1 sends signal pre-Fat Channel to the Aux mix. Pre1 is what should be used. If it's still distorting, check your input trim on the input and/or his output from his drums, if his drum brain has line outs, check to see what level they are sending at, you may need additional pad attenuation between his drum brain and the inputs on the mixer.
