Greetings and Thank You All in the Community for even reading my question.

I have a solid mono recording of the Performers voice.  I am looking to make it sound authoritative while maintaining clarity.  I am barely above a novice when it comes to Studio One.  I have played with Reverb and may other things and nothing sounded natural UNTIL as a part of my Journey I went my go to expert, Joe Gilder Videos.  Thank you so much Joe, I feel like we are old friends due to the amount of time I have spent listening to your amazing work.  And Keep promoting the “LEARNING”!!!!

But I digress.  I was watching a video on side chains by Joe and to my amazement I found what I was looking for, need to shorten up the reverb a little bit,  however, after 3 months of in-depth research I found it.  That is the great news.  The Bad news is that the topic of the video was not on how he sets up his “Slap Delay” Channel and “¼ note delay” channel.  See the link below.

Ps podcasters, his presets for the main vocal channel would be a great place to start so this helps multiple people.

My Questions:

1.  Any suggestions from the community, remembering the is a spoken word audio book / performance so we are looking for something that makes this voice be Authoritative and distinct while not sacrificing to much clarity?

2.  Does anybody know of a Joe video where he explains Slap Delay and ¼ note delay setups?

3.  Anybody know if the preset files are available somewhere?

Link to Joe’s Video

FYI the link below shows the Track and channels and starts where Joe lists the effects list.

Thanking you in advance,

David

video start time did not work so go to 5 minutes and 15 seconds to see the mix board.

Also the presets from Joe's 5Step guide do not match the ones in the video and when I open them up none of the values are set in Studio One 5
