Question

Hi Guys!

This might sound like a silly question, but it would be good to know the answer anyway.

I have an AudioBox USB 96. It's great and does exactly what I need. However, because it's powered over USB, this means it's always connected to my PC and my PC is on 24/7. Is this good for my AudioBox?

Hi Tony,

I won't say it is good for it. But it is not bad and should not hurt it. It might play a bit more on the durability of components but i'm sure at which point...

Maybe you can turn it off/unplug just at night, that's what I do (and seems like most studios are doing) .
Turning on all gear in the morning, off the evening.
