Microphone recording levels too low with Audiobox iTwo

Hi. I just purchased the Audiobox iTwo, and am trying to record vocals and an instrument (using the M7 condenser mic on CH1 and a digital piano on CH2). I find that the recording levels are too low, and I am only able to record any sound with the gain levels turned up almost all the way. Even if the gain levels are set to ~80% of max, I can't get any sound recorded in Studio One, and can't hear anything in the headphones.

Is this normal, or do I have a defective unit that needs to be replaced? Phantom power is on for the mic and I'm using an XLR cable for mic and Line In for piano, so that is not a problem.

Would be great to get some advice on what I am doing wrong, as I get the same issue with other software are as well (Eg Audacity).

My setup is as follows -

Computer make - Samsung 9000 series laptop

OS - Windows 10, updated to the latest

Application - Studio One, Audacity

Audio Interface - Audiobox iTwo. The Audiobox driver and firmware is updated to latest

Thanks a lot!

I'm sorry to see no one has answered your question, because I have the same issue.  I use the AudioBox96 USB, and I have to turn the input dial to between the 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock position to record anything with a mic, and even that's barely loud enough.

To your left of the screen when you open STudio ONe there will an INPUT icon. click on that.  click on whatever input your mic. is in. That should help!
