How to remove duplicate Soundsets

Each time Studio One (3) Artist starts it gives a yellow triangle warning that some soundsets are already loaded. This may not be doing any harm, but I prefer to see no warnings or errors on startup. Perhaps these are left over from previous installations (1 & 2)?

Any advice on how to clean up the installation would be appreciated.

The warning is because you have multiple instances of a sound set installed in the Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets folder on your computer.

Please open your Documents\Studio One\Soundsets folder.

- If you see any listing of a sound set listed twice, remove one of the instances from the folder and trash the other.

Make sure to open Studio One and check the menu option Studio One -> Options -> Locations -> Sound Sets. On MAC, Preferences -> Locations -> Sound Sets. In many cases your computer may be sharing a Public documents folder where the second instance is installed and scanning from.

So, for Example, you may have two folder locations for the scanning of your Sound Sets:

PC:
C:\Users\***YOUR USER ACCOUNT***\Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets

Mac:
Users\shared\PreSonus Software\Studio One\Sound Sets
User\Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets

You will need to check both locations on your hard drive that are listed to see if there are multiple additions to that folder of the same sound set file. This would be why the warning message occurs. So check each location as listed in your version of Studio One in that location and make sure that multiple instances are not being scanned.
