I haven't found an answer to this question. despite hours of internet and forum search. Suppose I have 20 midi tracks with let's say3 different possible setups in the controller/automation lanes while working in the key editor. 1st setup: CC1, CC3, CC4, velocity and Keyswitches. 2nd setup only CC1, third setup Keyswitch, CC64 and velocity only.
I have worked many years with Cubase, that let's you save these setups as presets. It is easy to load whatever preset to the track of your choice. I can't find such a feature, but maybe it is somewhere there. Any help is appreciated very much!

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.  There's a template feature of Studio One, that sounds like what you need.  Say you set your instrument tracks, plugins on the tracks, VST'S on their own channel.  When you click the file menu at the top to the song arrangement page there is a "Save as template" function.  You should be able to set automation lanes to a preset.  When you create a song selecting time base, sample rate, tempo, meter, there are three template tabs on the left of dialogue box.  One being song styles, one being interface mappings, the third being user prepared templates.  For example, I have a template set with mai tai mapped to one controller, impact mapped to another, EZDrummer to another, some empty audio tracks mapped to inputs and busses.  There's no reason you shouldn't be able to use that to save your presets.
