Akai Fire Midi setup

Hei, Help me connect my Akai Fire, it's not on the list.  And only the knobs are being registered if i try the midi learn mapping.

I have the exact same problem, As was at minimum hoping I could set it up to play notes from the piano roll or even from imopactxt for drums. But none of the pads register in midi learn nor any of the other buttons on the device. Like you said only the knobs seem to register.

I tried adding mackie midi device and it made some of the transport lights go on but pressing them does not seem to do anything either.

Would be nice if anyone knew how to get this device working in studio one. I would not mind purchasing the atom SQ but its so expensive because theres no option to purchase it without the included software the way the akai fire.

Since I finally managed to get my AKAI MIDImix working (mostly), I suspect that that Akai Fire will require some serious modification to the MIDImix.surface.xml file (if you are using Windows.  No idea on other OSs).

Help, Open Settings Folder, \User Devices\AKAI\
