As directed, I downloaded VoiceMeeter Banana to get the play-along audio from my web browser into Studio One. What I'm trying to do is this. I'm in an online drum course. I can record the drums while I play along to a track in the online course and submit for critique and guidance. The drums from my ekit record just fine, but I cannot get the audio from the play along in the web browser. I found the answer that said to get VM Banana. I have that. I have configured it successfully to get to my hardware devices. I can still get the drums to record, but cannot get the audio. I have watched many Youtube videos, but most are for streamers with discord and OBS, not Studio One.

My assumption is that the audio feeds to VM Banana then to Studio One, but I don't think I have it configured correctly. I think Studio One is still getting the drum tracks directly from my Audiobox 96 and not VM Banana.

In Studio One, under Options -> Audio I have tried using Voicemeeter Virtual and Voicemeeter Aux Virtual to no avail.

In the Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording I have tried the Voicemeeter Aux Output and Voicemeeter Output as the default devices each with both the Audio setups in Studio One, to no avail.

My Alesis drum module is connected by the 1/4" L/R to the Audiobox. Audiobox is connected to Windows laptop via USB. Audiobox is Hardware input A1 in VM for the drums, Firefox is connected to VM A2 with the virtual cable. The VM Virtual inputs are as all of the tutorials direct.

Another possibility is that I'm not doing a step to add the audio in Studio One. Do I need to add a track? If so, I can't figure out how to connect the new track to VM. Should VM be listed with my plugins? It's not currently.

I'm stymied. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.
