I am using OSB on a 2010 MacBook Pro with MacOS 10.9.5 and I am trying to get OBS to recognize my Studio Live 24.4.2 as an input source via firewire but it does not show up in the list of available options, only Persons FireStudio shows up and when I select that option OBS still takes Audio from the built in mic not the 24.4.2.

Is there a way to get OBS to recognize this console?

OBS will only see sends 1/2 from the mixer. This is how OBS works. You can run the main left and right from the mixer into something like a AudioBox that can then be connected to the computer to make the connection work.
