I"ve synched my audio to a video; however, when I try to export it I get a "failure to write" message.  How do I fix this?

Unfortunately, your question is a bit short on details. Can you be more specific? For example, can you take a screenshot of the exact message you are getting?

To where are you trying to export the file? It's probably a silly question, but are you absolutely certain there is enough space on the hard-drive to which you are attempting to save the file?

Again, you might get more replies if you can be a bit more specific in your problem statement. The more (clear) detail, the better.

Did you get this solved???? I have exactly the same error "FALED TO WRITE VIDEO" I have done lots of videos before and just not working anymore.. its so frustrating.. please help

FIXED!

After so many hours trying so many things I have fixed this. There's no solution anywhere online or in forums and I have asked for help and didn't get answers but I found the solution to my problem myself.

The video source I was using is from a new iphone 12. It does not work. I have sent the video to myself to my old iphone 6 and used that video source instead and no problems at all.

Both files were MOV, just the iphone 12 for any reason don't work.

Hope it helps!

I'm on MacOS Catalina and was also running into this problem.

It turned out Studio One did not have write access to the folder I was attempted to export the video to.

Once I set the file permission of the folder to allow reading and writing for all accounts, the issue was resolved.

Hey I’ve just been through the same problem, I have THE fix for you :)

Simply drag the video file into the corresponding song folder, and that’s it. Now try to export, it will work!
