How can i use a external delay with SL III and Studio one.
I want to use the effect ways.

I'm struggling with this issue myself trying to use an external hardware compressor. But the Studio Live manual gives some instructions in section 4.6.1.2.  I have the Studio Live 32S.  You will need Studio One profesional to use Pipeline XT which allows you to insert it in any send or return like any plug in. 

Also, I got this response from Joe's Youtube channell but I don't follow where the inputs/outputs he is referring to on the back of my 32S.

Actually i have channel 26 and 27 as a stereo out from s1. 31 and 32 are the inputs.
So i plugged the effect input in to channel 26,27 and the effect output into 31/32
