I recorded a lead vocal to a pre-recorded, mixed stereo backing track. I wanted to record an alternate take several days later, so I created a new layer on the vocal track. I recorded only the first line of the song, and when played back, it's about 30 ms or more ahead of where it's supposed to be. This happens every time I print on that track. It sounds fine when I print it, but playback is always ahead of where the singer placed the vocal.
The track delay is at zero, so that's not the issue. This has me stumped. Any ideas? (This is with Studio One v5.1.1.61815 Pro).
