Greetings to All
I may prove myself a total newbie here as this seems to be an obvious question. But my search of the forum did not address this. So, here I go.
I was recording bass guitar tracks and was doing some inspired walking patterns. Stick with the basic pattern but adding little riffs and inversions in places. So each take can be unique. Though inspired it also invites the occasional "oops". So, I would like to keep the track and just fix the oops. Or maybe overwrite a small area that is a tad boring.
The obvious answer would be some sort of foot switch to go into record and out just when needed. I know of a way to automate this but the foot switch would be much more instinctive and free form.
Anyway to set this up?
I am currently using a Studio 24C as my interface into Studio One Artist 4.6
