Question

I´m currently using Studio One Artist Version 4.6, and I´m in need of using some 3rd party plugins. Checking my options, I see that I can either get the VST and AU and Rewire Support or the Studio One 5 Artist Upgrade from Artist - all versions. The description on the Studio One 5 Artist Upgrade mentions that I can use third party plug-ins. At this moment the VST...Support is a 60% more expensive than the Upgrade, and since I don´t feel like paying twice, I prefer to make sure in advance.

Hi.  The cost effective way to go about this is to use the upgrade option from artist 4 to artist 5.  When you perform your upgrade this way, you will get the VST or 3rd part plug support AND a software version (v5) that will be updated that will be updated reasonably often.
